South Jersey Students Volunteered in Santo Domingo

In March 2011, Interact Club members from South Jersey (District 7640) visited the Armando Rosenberg Home and School in Santo Domingo to volunteer for several projects supporting the ongoing maintenance of the home of several hundred kids. Several Rotary Clubs from the South Jersey support the orphanage on an ongoing basis.

Absegami Interact Club volunteers at the 2010 MS Walk

Nine members of Absegami High School’s Interact Club and adviser Ed Friend offered food, drink and cheers to community members who participated in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s 2010 MS Walk in Ocean City on May 2. The Interactors worked alongside 25 other volunteers and fed approximately 630 walkers who raised an estimated $78,000.

 

Road Clean-up by Interact and Rotaract members

The clean-up was done as a joint effort with Vineland Rotary Club, Cumberland County College Rotaract Club and Vineland High School Interact Club.  This is the second of two clean-ups done annually.

 

Vineland Interact Earth Day Project

The Vineland High School Interact Club went to Johnstone Elementary School to teach the 4th graders curriculum on Germination and Photosynthesis.  They also planted "green" plants as a gift to each 4th grade classroom.
